Hello my name is Jerry Misiewicz and I am an Omaha wedding and portrait photographer who has a passion for life and a love of photography. I enjoy weddings for many reasons. I love creating beautiful images of people during extraordinary times in their lives. It does not matter what you want to label it: photojournalism wedding photography, wedding portrait photography, free style wedding photography, candid or any other contemporary label. My goal remains the same: beautiful images of the bride and groom´s wedding story. If I had to place a label on my style, I would have to say its “natural wedding photography.” Natural wedding photography is where the bride and groom look great and we're having fun.
I believe beautiful wedding images start with wedding engagement photos. It is during this time that we build the foundation for the actual wedding day. Also, just having fun with the couple is a big part of these photos, as is giving the couple help with positioning their bodies to look good. It does not stop there. From these engagement images I gain valuable feedback from the couple as to what they like and how to improve future wedding day images.
I'll take a wide variety of image and styles from classic to romantic and fun and playful. I'll also do a variety of enhancements: Black and white, soft touch, color styles making a your session an unique engagement photography.
A big benefit of my engagement photos are for the groom. Most men do not enjoy taking pictures, but I show how fun and enjoyable they can be and to relax in front of a camera. I believe all these little things make a big difference in the final wedding pictures.
Out of all my photography activities, this is my favorite. From classic and sensual studio work, to playful location shoots I just love it! Let’s face it the bride is the focal point of the wedding day story, and she puts a lot of effort to looking perfect for her wedding day. There is just something magical about romantic bridals, wedding dresses, and that wedding smile. I have done bridals from two weeks before the wedding, to months after the wedding. From trashing the dress in my pool, formal bridal portraits, to a fun and playful photojournalism style in downtown Omaha, I just love it all.

My photography studio is in my home with a warm relaxing family feel. You’ll have unlimited poses and clothing changes. You'll be able to express your true personality with unlimited clothing changes. Bring fun and casual outfits, sports uniforms and formal styles. The more outfits and more variety the more fun! You can bring a friend or parent to watch and make sure everything is perfect. You can even bring your own music (CD or IPOD) to listen to while we take your awesome senior portraits.
In the warmer months, many high school seniors elect to have their senior portraits taken outdoors. My Photography studio in Bellevue, NE is ideal for this type of photography. My outdoor photography studio (right outside my studio door) currently offers bridges, trees, bench and a landscaped mini-park. I can also go to a location of your choosing.
